Can this recover a forgotten password?
No. You must enter the correct existing password. The tool does not guess, crack or bypass passwords.
Why is the output flattened?
Each page is safely rendered and rebuilt into a new PDF. This removes encryption but may also remove interactive forms, selectable text, links, signatures and metadata.
Are my file and password uploaded?
No. Processing takes place locally in your browser. Third-party script files are loaded to power the PDF conversion, but your document is not sent to them by this tool.
Why can processing take time?
Every PDF page is rendered on your device. Large documents and mobile devices may need more time and memory.
